What’s everyone buzzing about?

by Patrick Algrim
  • Penguin Tumblr Theme
  • Every once and a while I come across these Tumblr themes, hard to find them because of the Tumblr SEO problem, when I do, it is very much so worth it. Looks like the Penguin theme is a perfect fit for my Tumblr blog.

  • Yet Another Weekly Delicious Links Plugin
  • I couldn’t seem to get this working on Hell Yeah Dude completely yet, but I am sure plugin’s are on the way. Since Delicious recently opened up their API to possible link blogging (automatically) everyone has been scurrying about trying to figure out a way to make this post links automatically to you’re WordPress blog WEEKLY. • Looks like Will Ferrell is at it again, another Funny or Die video
  • Will Ferrell has been having huge success with Funny or Die video’s. The first video came from the “Pearl” sketch, which included a young child who could only speak swear words and slurs of sentences to create a great mash-up of comedy and cuteness that the young girl brought. But it looks like Will Ferrell is at it again, with one of my favorite comedians, Nick Swardson. Check out the latest Funny or Die “viral video.”

  • 11 Magic Words — to keep you out of the lawyers office
  • Andy Sernovitz gives a brief statement to help you keep you out of the lawyers office, a great Word of Mouth blog, sums up a quick way to hold ground while commenting on larger corporate blogs. This sounds like something we should list with a comments etiquette post. Everyone has one, why shouldn’t we!

  • Digg.com possibly being sold to Microsoft or Google?
  • While the rumors have been around for a while, looks like this nightmare might turn into reality for all of your Digg.com fans out there. Digg possible being up for auction, two of those major bidders include Microsoft and Google. We posted earlier about the reasons Digg might be selling. Want to head over there and see our analysis?

  • Graphic Thought Exhibit in Chicago at The Art Institute
  • Looks like the Graphic Thought Facilities will be hitting Chicago pretty soon. Be sure to bring your skinny jeans, gold sun glasses, and super small camera’s (or iPhone). You won’t want to miss this exhibit of wonders.

What’s everyone buzzing about covers some of this week and this days buzz on the Web. Mainly to keep your stomach full over the weekend while we are out drinking beer. Seriously don’t click on this link.
