Mr. Brainwash Interview at ICONS New York
Collected On Apr 6, 2010Such an incredible interview with the talented Mr. Brainwash. How incredible is it that people can join together in praising the love for art like this? It’s fantastic to see such support that would lead people to waiting in line for hours and hours. One my personal favorite parts of this insightful interview is when Mr. Brainwash says, “If you are a good person, nothing can hurt you.” That’s incredibly true!
Tanner Goods Waxed Tote
Collected On Apr 6, 2010Tanner Goods, a Portland based leather shop creates some of the most incredibly hand crafted leather goods around. From belts and wallets to dog collars and lanyards. Their impeccable style and grace with their leather production have earned them top ranking among the fashion blogs. One of the rarities these days in any product, is one that lasts long and looks better over time. All of the Tanner Goods products won’t disappoint in that realm. Add this amazing waxed canvas tote bag to my want list. Although the $185 price tag is going to make it stay on my want list.
Pendleton & Urban Outfitters
Collected On Apr 5, 2010
Pendleton has recently teamed up with Urban Outfitters (they have really been doing a great job lately) to deliver these amazing native american inspired home goods. These blankets look extra comfy and could match your wood floors and cozy fireplace. Looks like there are some really great patterns in there. Collection is available at Urban Outfitters now.
BERG should inspire incredible thought
Collected On Apr 1, 2010BERG is a digital exploration team from London, that have really captured my eye. Their projects are simple applications with technology, to answer large questions. The video above depicts a very simple idea, visualizing signals of RFID’s. If you really think about it, the immense amounts of information you get from that is pretty significant. Imagine if the placement of our antenna’s across the world (cell phone, internet, television) could be optimized for better services and less costs. Groundbreaking idea’s in simple form.
Pete Panciera
Collected On Mar 29, 2010Pete Panciera is one rad dude. His artwork has that new world hand crafted feel to it, but still rolls with the new style I am more than happy to see the skate & surf industry encapsulate. Pete has had the chance to work with some rad companies, like Scion and Nixon. As well as having some of his work featured in Arkitip. Pete runs a great blog called Designerds. I just bookmarked it since all of the content is completely up my alley of interest. The artwork above is some of his beautiful works that was featured on the Superbrand Apparel Blog, a Southern California surf company that is taking art of simplistic style into the surf industry. Overall, Pete is doing some pretty great things and he deserves some love, visit all of his work and enjoy the beautiful imagery.
Spanish Sahara
Collected On Mar 26, 2010Doesn’t look like much in the beginning. But trust me, continue watching it. Amazing cinematography to this video, imagine what they must have went through just to get these shots? Days of traveling, and waiting for the right weather. Just incredible.
