Logan White for Urban Outfitters

Collected On Mar 25, 2010

I know you’ve seen it, those amazing photographs for the Spring 2010 catalog shipped out by Urban Outfitters. I was super impressed with the photography and general art direction when I got the catalog. Logan White took one of my favorite shots in the catalog. The scene is perfect, a few friends hanging in the back of a pickup truck, just cruising down the boulevard. How much better can it get? Check out all of Logan’s work, as I assure you you’ll be impressed.

Alberto Oviedo

Collected On Mar 24, 2010

Some serious photography skills Alberto has. Love this shot above, it makes me think of fashion, but in a very rugged and manly way. The focus is on the man having a very metropolitan style suit, but then being in the middle of the wilderness. Absolute love that playful contrast. You definitely need to check out Alberto’s work if you appreciate the fashion forward style photography.

HBO presents NYC skaters

Collected On Mar 24, 2010

This was fantastic. A long watch, but if your like me and appreciate the cinematography that goes into skateboard flicks, than you’ll for sure love this. I love all the scenes and slow transitions, really adds the passion to the skating that goes on in NYC. A must watch, especially if you are stressed.

Kiran Master is master of flat color

Collected On Mar 19, 2010

I am pretty much in love this with photograph. I love how Kiran’s style is almost flat, but it’s not. Don’t really know how the color is so synchronized. But I am completely in love with it. The style can make almost any boring object feel focused and unique. This photograph feels almost gradient-like, but with texture. Completely love the style.

The Quoddy Grizzly Boots

Collected On Mar 19, 2010

Yes Spring is here, and Winter is over. But, these boots are incredible. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, I love the hand crafted one of a kind feel to any garment of clothing. If it’s your boots, your hoodie, or your shirt. I want it hand crafted, and one of a kind. These boots are steep, at nearly $400, but when you order your pair, you customize the order to your liking and they are produced specifically for you. That’s pretty incredible.

Take a look at the amazing Quoddy Girzzly Boots.

Welcome to Toddland

Collected On Mar 18, 2010

Toddland is one of my favorite up and coming brands. I say this because I love their price range, style, and overall appeal. Their brand is about producing vintage-like clothing with modern day fit and simplicity. For basics, this brand is almost completely white label. Most of the garments aren’t flashy enough to blare out at you, but they are still so perfectly put together that you become the brand wear one of the garments. They have been getting some great press lately, due to almost every television show on NBC Thursdays at 7pm having a character wear something from Toddland. What more is there to say? If your a human, you’ll appreciate these garments. Perfectly priced, well put together, and that differential basic style that will match and extract style from every other garment you have in your closet.
